How To Pick Courses in Grade 10 - 12

To help you plan for graduation, we've organized the 24 credit requirement to receive your grade 12 diploma, by grade. We offer flexibility to accommodate your learning style through both asynchronous (learn on your own time) and synchoronous (attend live broadcast) courses.

At each grade level there are 3 types of credits that students must have:

Compulsory (required) Credits

Students must have these credits.

Required Elective Credits

Students must have a certain number of required elective credits. They have some choices of classes to choose from.

Elective Credits

Students can take courses from this area to fulfill their 24-credit minimum. They are often areas of interest.

Nine Required Electives that can be taken while the students in Grade 10, 11 or 12

Six Electives, based on interest, that can be taken while the students in Grade 10, 11 or 12

Students must take:

  • Three level 10, 20 or 30 required electives

  • Four level 20 or 30 required electives

  • Two level 30 required electives

Student can choose from the following required elective courses:

  • PAA / Fine Art / Art 10, 20 or 30

Unique electives based on students area of interest.
