What's happening at Sask DLC....

.
February is Black History Month

In 2026, we celebrate 30 years of honouring the achievements and contributions of Black Canadians. This year’s theme, “Honouring Black Brilliance Across Generations – From Nation Builders to Tomorrow’s Visionaries” celebrates the leaders, changemakers, and communities shaping Canada past, present, and future.

.
February is Indigenous Storytelling Month

February marks Indigenous Storytelling Month, honouring the winter tradition of sharing stories when snow covers the land.

These stories celebrate Indigenous culture, history, teachings, worldview, and language, and play an important role in learning and reflection.
